My family recently had a great family day at Mortimer Family Farms in Dewey, AZ. They were having a Sweet Corn Fest where you get a free ear of roasted corn with your paid entrance fee. There was a lot of fun activies for the kids to do and stuff to do as a family.
There was face painting and a corn bin that my 5 year old granddaughter took advantage of, my 11 year old son conquered the climbing rock, and both of the young ones enjoyed the three different swings. My husband watched the blacksmith and ended up getting a camping setup made from him. All the adults enjoyed the wonderful weather while listening to the bands, watching the corn eating contest, and watching the kids having a great time. There is a store where you can purchase produce and other novelty items. Mortimer Family Farms will be having a Pumpkin Fest & Corn Maze in October. Visit the website to learn more.
